His commitment to learning the nuances of this traditional Filipino martial art, founded by Grandmaster Jose D. Caballero in 1925, was evident from the start.
However, what makes Lukas stand out is that his journey didn’t stop at earning his certification. He has continued to train with Maestro Paolo on a weekly basis—nearly without missing a session—since his promotion. Lukas has demonstrated a relentless drive to improve, and his skill level today is a reflection of that dedication. His progression from a capable practitioner to an advanced instructor has been nothing short of impressive, as he refines his understanding and application of De Campo principles.
In 2024, Lukas took on a leadership role, leading the weekly De Campo group Zoom sessions, where he shares his knowledge and helps guide others on their own journeys. At the same time, he continues his personal training with Maestro Paolo, working through the advanced Specialization level of De Campo. His commitment to both teaching and learning highlights his deep passion for the art and his desire to master it fully.
